Rapha freshen up Classic Glasses for 2016

It's tough to find a pair of sunglasses that are as functional off the bike as on, and you really don't want to be that person who wears his sport sunglasses on civvy street, unless you're German. Then it's the law.

So Rapha's Classic Glasses are a rarity in that respect - equally at home as part of a casual wardrobe as they are protecting your eyes as you hammer along the lanes.

For 2016 Rapha has introduced a blonde and smoke frame colourway and played around with the lens combinations, so the grey frame that used to have a pink lens now has a grey lens.

There's more to it than that. They've also altered the frame size to improve the fit, lengthened the arms so they stay in a helmet better and improved the grippers.

Manufacturing quality remains the same -  handmade in Italy by acetate manufacturers Mazzucchelli 1849 from a cotton based organic material (no we don't know what that means either) with Carl Zeiss lenses and an Oleophobic and hydrophobic coating.

Rapha says field of vision and weight competes with sports styles.
